Real Estate Agents – Change the linked web site for your listings on Trulia

A common request from agents on Trulia.com is to change the linked web site for their listings, so the listing points to their own web sites.  When we receive multiple listing submissions for a property, we aggregate the listings together, and display the highest priority source. Usually, this is a franchise or broker submission.

With a Trulia Pro subscription, you can change the web site linked to your Trulia.com listings. When some one clicks for more information about the property, you can redirect them to your own web site, and get more traffic to your site, as well as your other listings.

To get started, pick a subscription plan for Trulia Pro either on your My Account page, or at www.trulia.com/truliapro.

Once you have logged in to your account with Trulia Pro, go to your My Listings page and feature your listings by checking the button to the left of each listing preview. If a listing is missing from this page, you can use the ‘Find your listings on Trulia’ search tool on the right side of the page to search by property address, or by the email address submitted with your listings.

With your listings featured, you should see a blue [change] link underneath the price of each listing preview. Using this tool, you can change the web site linked to your listings’ property details pages.

If you do not find a link to your web site through this tool, you will have to resubmit the listing, and provide a link to the listing’s page on your site in the submission.

Once we have your site on file, you can use the [change] link to change the web site linked to your Trulia.com listing.

Trulia Pro will also help increase the exposure both you and your listings receive on Trulia.com. By featuring your listings, they can be displayed within the top four listings in relevant search result pages. Furthermore, you can create a custom Local Spotlight Ad to promote resources you provide as an agent and on your web site, in up to 20 locations on Trulia.com. For more information, and to get started with Trulia Pro, please go to www.trulia.com/truliapro.

As soon as you start trying to sell me something like this it makes me want to RUN far away from your site and services. Thanks but no thanks.

To Top Atlanta Agent – First of all, are you REALLY a top agent, hey all exposure is good for your business… if you really have an opinion don’t hide behind the anonymity of the internet.

Secondly, Trulia is here because WE AREN’T. Our NAR and other MLS have let Trulia exist. They are kicking our rear end by out marketing, out seo and out manuevering anything our sluggish organization can do. Bravo for them for continuing to develop the model and then sell it to us.

I’m a fan of Trulia because of the ingenuity, I’d prefer some things change that would HELP ME, but at the end of the day, it helps my sellers which if you have listings… should be your number 1 priority.

    Thank you Trulia!

TruliaPro just got a half-mile more relevant (locally).

The trick, if there is such a thing, is variety. Make certain you collect a steady and varied collection of links
